SPSS Keyboard Shortcuts
SPSS contains a number of very useful keyboard shortcuts that can make working with it far faster. We recommend that you try to learn these shortcuts as they really do make a big difference. They vary according to the window that you are working in and so we have grouped them by window.
Any Window
ALT + TAB Cycle between different windows
ALT + F4 Close the current window
CTRL + SHIFT + END Move to the end of the current line
Data Editor Window
CTRL + T Cycle between the variable view and data view
Syntax Window
F1 Opens the Help window
F2 Selects the Entire Command from the current cursor position
CTRL + R Selects Run the selected code
CTRL + C Selects Copy the selected code
CTRL + X Cut the selected code
CTRL + V Paste the selected syntax
CTRL + A Selected everything in the current window
CTRL + F Opens the find search box
CTRL + H Opens the replace search box
CTRL + Z Undo the most recent changes made.
CTRL + Y Reinstate the last undo
